The mission of Varpe is not only to create technological solutions for its clients, but also  to contribute to a better society, in which all its members have the same opportunities and the necessary support to develop themselves.

For this reason, we carry out various social works that benefit different groups.

Establishment in solidarity with Sant Joan de Déu

Varpe collaborates with the Sant Joan de Déu programs of support for people in vulnerable situations, biomedical research and international cooperation developed by its Hospitals, Socio-Health Services and Social Services.
In Sant Joan de Déu they take special care of the people who need it most. This is their way of building a more just and hospitable society. They care for children and their families, people in a situation or at risk of social exclusion for reasons of health or social or economic situation, also people fleeing wars and conflict zones. They do this thanks to the support of individuals and companies, entities and institutions like Varpe, who want to contribute our grain of sand to the creation of a better society.

Project «Cap infant sense conte»

The literary project "Cap infant sense conte" began in 2014 with the main objective of promoting the reading habit, children's creativity and an education in values. In addition, it also wants to promote a love of reading, facilitate access to culture for all children and make it available to everyone. The initiative is framed, as established by the Convention on the Rights of the Child, to ensure the right to a dignified life, to leisure and play, and to participation in cultural and artistic activities of all children and adolescents.
Varpe has been collaborating financially for two years to support the production, printing and distribution of this children's story, which will be distributed in hospitals, shelters, schools and other institutions on the occasion of the celebration of Sant Jordi. The idea is that all children have the possibility of having a book within their reach and access to reading.
