X-ray inspection equipment with double side shot.
Varpe’s new generation of X-ray inspection equipment offers innovative global solutions for the inspection of products with dual side-shooting, guaranteeing the safety and integrity of your production.
The IRIX DDL X-ray inspection system is offered with dual side-shooting from bottom to top or top to bottom.
The bottom-up side-shooting uses two generators with different angles of attack, these being lateral from bottom to top. This allows for very good inspection of the projection of the upper part of the jar. It is especially suitable for jars of olives, legumes, etc.
The top-down side-shooting is used when the inspection must be performed on glass jars, since their inspection by a single side-shot is inefficient; in this case, its use is recommended for products such as liquid bottles and the like.
Its advanced X-ray technology achieves exceptional levels of detection of ferrous and non-ferrous material, stainless steel, glass, metal, calcified bones, spines, and stones. Likewise, they simultaneously verify damaged products, breakages, mass measurement with estimated weight, and counting of elements within the product.
All Varpe X-ray inspection equipment complies with international safety standards governing ionizing radiation emissions.
They are approved as exempt from radioactive installation and fully approved by the General Directorate of Politics and Mines, with prior approval from the Nuclear Safety Council, with approval number NHM-X224, published in the BOE nº 90 dated April 15, 2017.
