X-ray equipment for your multi-lane production
VARPE’s IRIX X-ray inspection range safeguards the safety and integrity of your production. Its advanced X-ray technology captures sharp images of different types of foreign bodies, such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, glass or stone. It runs on its own, custom and versatile software built on advanced technology.
Thanks to its design, it inspects up to ten independent lanes simultaneously, with staggered product infeed and individual rejection per lane.
It also simultaneously verifies product integrity: breakages, mass measurement with estimated weight, and unit count inside the product.
Its AISI 304 stainless steel housing features components designed for easy disassembly and cleaning. Its X-ray generator —of rugged design and long service life, with a latestgeneration X-ray tube— is cooled to adapt to the working ambient conditions. For industries that require it, hygienic features can be added.
It has been granted exemption status as a radioactive installation and has been fully approved by the Directorate-General for Policies and Mines, subject to the prior approval of the Nuclear Safety Council, with approval number NHM-X224, published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) No. 90 dated 15 April 2017.
