The IRIX DV HD X-ray inspection system is equipped with a high-definition X-ray generator and a TDI (Time Delay Integration) detector, providing sharper, high-resolution X-ray images.
These images are interpreted by advanced image processing software that offers maximum precision in detecting foreign bodies (ferrous and non-ferrous materials, stainless steel, glass, calcified bones, spines, and stones), minimizing false rejects. The equipment also simultaneously verifies damaged products, breakages, mass measurement with estimated weight, and counting of elements within the product.
All Varpe X-ray inspection equipment complies with international safety standards governing ionizing radiation emissions.
They are approved as exempt from radioactive installation and fully approved by the General Directorate of Politics and Mines, with prior approval from the Nuclear Safety Council, with approval number NHM-X224, published in the BOE nº 90 dated April 15, 2017.
