Dual vertical side-shot is a geometry that uses two generators, combining side and vertical shots. This inspection type is especially suitable when variability in formats and product types is unavoidable, for example, a ready-cooked food packaging plant (tall cans, short cans, etc.).
Its advanced X-ray technology achieves exceptional detection levels for ferrous and non-ferrous materials, stainless steel, glass, metal, calcified bones, fish bones, and stones. It also simultaneously checks for damaged products, breakages, mass measurement with estimated weight, and counting of items inside the product.
All Varpe X-ray inspection systems comply with international safety standards governing ionising radiation emissions.
They are certified as exempt from radioactive installation requirements and fully approved by the Directorate-General for Energy Policy and Mines, subject to approval by the Nuclear Safety Council, under approval number NHM-X224, published in Official State Gazette (BOE) No. 90 dated 15 April 2017.
