Online quality control for sausages

Varpe’s equipment is designed following the guidelines of hygienic design for quick and safe cleaning of the checkweighers found on food production lines to ensure their safety. Our specific checkweigher machine for fuet pieces is, therefore, designed under the hygiene guidelines for the food industry.

In order to guarantee the correct weight of the sausage pieces, two V2000 checkweighers can be used in a production of 80 fuet pieces per minute.

The weighing process occurs just before the packaging machine, to minimize the waste of packaging material in those pieces that do not meet the established weight.

This system has a rejection assembly for non-conformity in weight by means of a blower-type system and a collection box for rejected product with a safety system, confirmation of rejected piece, full box alert, and verification of rejection confirmation.

The equipment is developed to comply with the strictest standards of the food industry for control and cleaning processes such as IFS (International Featured Standards) and BRC (British Retail Consortium).
