The IRIX DV HD X-ray inspection system is equipped with a type of high-definition X-ray generator and a TDI (Time Delay Integration) detector that provides sharp high-resolution X-ray images.
These images are interpreted by an advanced image processing software that offers maximum accuracy in foreign body detection (ferric and non-ferric material, stainless steel, glass, calcified bones, spines and stones), avoiding false rejections as much as possible. In addition, the equipment simultaneously checks for damaged products, breakages, mass measurement with estimated weight, and item count within the product.
This system complies with the international safety standards governing ionizing radiation emissions.
It is listed under the certification of exempt equipment granted by the General Direction of Policies and Mines, with the approval of the Council Of Nuclear Safety Number NHMX224, published in the BOE No. 90 on April 15, 2017.
